So I think I've gotten the hang of things and ready to get started.
These babies were added to my little shop today:
Damask patterns
Damask is usually not my cup of tea but there was just something about this one that caught my attention...could it be that crown!Going to start a project with a smaller brown pattern one and will post that once it’s finished.
Another thing I can't seem to stop making are these:
Geninne's Art blog is one of the sites I visit often and she has this great tutorial on how to make basic shape stamps with materials as simple as an eraser.I was inspired and those were created from these sketches:
It took a little getting use to handling the carving tool, but once I practiced making the first stamp I understood the technique better and was itching to make some more!In the mean time I'll continue tweaking away here and at every other project surrounding me right now.

ooohh I like the look of that leaf stamp! You better not bring it by the store or it might just disappear. ;o)
